Have had a fantastic week of training, completed 60kms and felt very comfortable.
I’m really starting to understand why people love running so much, well for me at least its the freedom to go where you please, see what you wish to see and enjoy some time to yourself.
Although, running along the River Thames on a Saturday morning I’ve realised there are 3 types of “runners” which choose this path.
1) Runners who are there to run, regardless of their goal, its head down and go.
2) Runners who have dogs, either running along side, in front or behind of them, or the more amusing people who are dragging their dogs along for their run or being dragged themselves.
3) My favourite, Runners who have convinced their partners to go running with them and are chatting the whole time, totally oblivious to the fact that running along the River Thames is the last place their partner wants to be on a Saturday morning, Its quite funny.
So next time you are out running on a Saturday morning, take note of the types of people who your constantly running past, it might just make you laugh.
